Design of Chrysler 200
Part of Chrysler's world-class craftsmanship is the 200's high-strength steel body, electronic gear shifting, electric power steering, push button start and bucket seats tailored from premium cloth. There are many features that come standard that are not typically included on an entry-level sedan. Some of these are 12-volt power outlets in media center, audio jack, remote USB port and overhead lights. The vehicle has a Uconnect AM/FM radio with four speakers that has controls mounted on the steering wheel. Full tilt and telescoping steering column and a steering wheel crafted from urethane. There are many more features that come standard including some highlighted because they were changed or added based on customer feedback. These additions include a rear mounted backup camera available on the 200S and Limited models, the 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 engine is now optional for Limited models, a heated steering wheel is now standard on the 200C model, upgrades to seat firmness and safety features have also been included. The 200 will be offered in ten different exterior colors which include the brand new Black Forest Green Clear Coat, Redline Tri-coat, Pearl Coat and Maximum Steel Clear Coat. The 90th Anniversary package adds some additional features such as an 8.4-inch touchscreen radio complete with SiriusXM Radio, a sunroof, the artfully designed 90th anniversary logo appears on both the floor mats and screen logo. The Chrysler 200 Limited model comes with all standard equipment as well as halogen headlights, Bluetooth, touchscreen media center, rear backup camera, power windows, compass gauge 17-inch aluminum wheels and many more. The 200S model offers a sportier driving experience complete with a different sense of style and more distinction. This model features everything the Limited gives you plus black cloth seats with leather trim, eight-way power driving seat, steering wheel containing audio control and wrapped in leather, deluxe door trim panel, dual bright exhaust tips, acoustic windshield glass rear-view mirror with microphone for hands free, heated rear view mirrors, sport suspension and 18-inch aluminum wheels. The premium offering at the top of the models produced is the 2016 Chrysler 200C which offers the finest amenities at a price point that still holds customer value. The 200C builds off of the 200S and adds premium leather seats, 7-inch driver information screen in full color, remote start, heated seats and steering wheel, door trim panels, humidity sensor, footwell lamps, hidden exhaust, 4 wheel independent suspension, exterior chrome accents, six way power passenger seat, universal garage door opener and aluminum wheels that are 17 inches tall and painted.
